LAGERBOX is proud to have been named the top performer in the self-storage category of the renowned study “Germany’s most sought-after employer 2025”. The award was presented by the F.A.Z. Institute in collaboration with the analytics and consulting firm ServiceValue. It is based on a comprehensive survey, including approximately 28.5 million mentions covering 16,000 companies, collected and evaluated between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2025—as well the use of a structured online survey and state-of-the-art, AI-driven social media analyses.

A study that carries weight

The F.A.Z. Institute study stands out for its methodological depth and broad analytical scope. On the one hand, the basis consists of a two-stage social media monitoring process in which all relevant posts, comments and mentions of companies are collected online and analysed using AI-driven methods. Both tone and reach are taken into account, which are crucial factors in an age when corporate reputation is increasingly shaped through digital platforms.

On the other hand, participating companies were evaluated using a structured questionnaire covering seven key areas: job security, working hours, salary structure, development and training opportunities, communication, family-friendliness, and additional benefits. A total score was then calculated for each company. The highest-scoring organisations within each industry were awarded a full 100 points—a score that LAGERBOX achieved in the self-storage category. This result not only sets the standard for our sector, but shows another thing: Self-storage offers a modern, forward-looking working environment that inspires people and provides real opportunities for growth.
