LAGERBOX helps with donations for Ukraine
LAGERBOX has made a free storage unit available for donations to Ukraine at its facility in Dresden Friedrichstadt. The initiative is supported in cooperation with two organisations, “Support Ukrajina” and “Fanprojekt Dresden”.
The LAGERBOX facility in Friedrichstadt can be found at Hamburger Strasse 40.

Fanprojekt Dresden is organised by supporters of Dynamo Dresden, the city’s local football club. However, calls for donations not only go out to the club’s supporters but to everybody wanting to help people in need.
The “Support Ukrajina” organisation is helping with very diverse activities. In addition to collecting non-cash and cash donations, it is also helping with transporting people from the Polish-Ukrainian border. By doing so, they are witnessing people’s plight first-hand. Transport is free, of course.
The following non-cash donations are required
Urgently needed goods include non-perishable food (shrink-wrapped, jarred, or canned), baby food, animal food for cats and dogs, camping mats, sleeping bags, warm blankets, rucksacks, headlamps, flashlights, batteries (AA, AAA), powerbanks with cables, lighters, freestanding candles, tyre repair spray, lug wrench for changing tyres, and all types of electricity generators.
The following medical equipment is needed
dressing material, compresses, and gauze, first aid kits, warming blankets/rescue blankets, surgical alcohol, disinfectant, masks (medical, FFP2), gloves and syringes (2, 5, 10, 20 ml), blood bags and supplies for blood transfusion, tourniquets/constriction devices, medical instruments and surgical supplies, drippers, splints, and stretchers.
The following drugs are needed
fever reducers, blood thinners, cold medicine, heart and blood pressure medication, stomach medicine (Imodium), painkillers and antibiotics, Paracetamol, Nurofen and Ibuprofen, suppositories and cough syrup for children, nasal spray, and Bronchicum cough syrup.
