LAGERBOX Donates Honey to the Caritas St. Vinzenz Children's and Youth Center in Erfurt

The donation was presented by Sarah and Christian from our team in Erfurt. During their visit, they not only delivered the honey but also had the opportunity to learn more about an institution with an extraordinarily long history. The Caritas Children's and Youth Home St. Vinzenz has been serving the community since 1664, making it the oldest institution of its kind in Germany.

At the heart of its daily work are children and young people who, for a variety of reasons, are temporarily or permanently unable to live in their previous family environment. The dedicated team provides them with a safe home, reliable structures and personal support. Alongside educational care, a strong sense of community, security and the individual development of each young person play a central role.

It quickly became clear to us that the surplus honey could make a meaningful contribution in a place like this. Whether enjoyed at a shared breakfast, used as an ingredient for baking, or simply as a small sweet treat in everyday life, we hope the donation brings joy to the children, young people and staff at the facility.

For us, social commitment means staying attentive and providing support where it can make a genuine difference.
