The new LAGERBOX app

The LAGERBOX app brings together numerous features for managing your storage unit and rental agreement - from digital access to your storage facility to downloading invoices and contractual documents.

Particularly convenient: The traditional access chip is no longer strictly necessary to enter the facility. Gates and doors can now be opened directly using a smartphone. This makes using your storage unit even more convenient, while allowing many tasks to be handled digitally without any additional effort.

How Digital Access Works

Customers with an existing rental agreement can download the app and log in using the email address or mobile phone number provided when the rental agreement was concluded. For secure login, a security code is then sent by email or SMS. Once the code has been entered, users can access their personal account immediately.

When the app is opened, the available doors and gates at the facility where the customer's rented LAGERBOX storage unit is located are displayed directly. The selected door or gate can then be unlocked using a smartphone.

Your personal storage unit will continue to be secured and opened using your own padlock, as usual.

What Features Does the LAGERBOX App Offer?

Renting a storage unit – straightforward, quick and now even more digital. Much of the information and documentation relating to a rental agreement is accessible directly from your smartphone. Among other things, customers can:

• View their existing rental agreements.

• Open gates and doors digitally at their respective facility.

• Grant other people access to the facility.

• View opening hours, contact details and facility information.

• Download invoices, rental agreements and other documents.

• Terminate their rental agreement digitally.

This means that important information is no longer scattered across different sources but is conveniently available in a single app. This makes everyday tasks easier, particularly when documents are needed at short notice or when access to a storage unit needs to be shared with another person.

Sharing Access with Other People

Access permissions can also be managed through the app. This can be particularly useful when family members, employees or other authorised individuals also need access to the facility.

Through the relevant rental agreement, another person can be added as a contact and granted access. The invited person must also use the app and log in with their email address. Once granted, access permissions can be revoked at a later date. This ensures that you can always monitor and control who is authorised to access the facility.
