New building in Mannheim

Good news from Mannheim:

LAGERBOX is upgrading its facility by building a second building there.

Since many of the capacities at the Mannheim facility are already taken and the demand is holding up, we are building an additional building so we can keep meeting your storage needs.

The new structure will consist of a ground floor and a top floor and put 320 additional storage units at your disposal. This equals a total of 1,600 square metres of lettable space. The total floor area, including the corridors, amounts to 2,400 square metres. Completion of the project is scheduled for the second quarter of next year, in 2022.

The LAGERBOX location at Hans-Thoma-Straße 25 has all the features you are used to: receiving goods service, 365-day access, free-of-charge transport van and aids when moving in, alarm and video surveillance, and access with a code. Call our free-of-charge hotline anytime between 8am and 9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. General warehouse access is possible throughout the entire week between 6am and 23pm. Our friendly staff is waiting for you at the on-site office, which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and between 9am and 4pm on Saturdays. Regardless whether you need it for a car or a mobile home, the facility also has parking spaces to let.

LAGERBOX has been in beautiful Mannheim since 2016, when it took over and expanded the facility from a competitor. Located on the rivers Rhine and Neckar, Mannheim is part of Baden-Württemberg and has over 300,000 inhabitants. Its main landmark is the baroque 18th century castle, which is also home to the city university among other things. Mannheim is nicknamed the City of Squares because its road network is laid out in a grid pattern. Contemporary Mannheim is also famous for its parks, which were planted for the Bundesgartenschau in 1975, for its boroughs, which have a very multicultural character, and for its music scene as well as the city’s Pop Academy. Many know the name Söhne Mannheims, a band that was very successful in the German billboard charts for a long time.

In terms of sport, Mannheim is home to the first-class handball club Rhein-Neckar Löwen, named after the two rivers, Rhine and Neckar.
